About

The idea for The Horse Box was born after a trip to Kilkenny, Ireland for our cousin’s wedding in the Summer of 2017. Experimenting with making homemade gin, our family fixed up an old trailer, which in Ireland they call a “horse box,” to use as their bar. With a family full of horsemen, it was only natural to incorporate such a big part of their lives into their special day. We were so inspired by the rehabilitation of an old family relic, and considering we had one laying to rest on our farm in Harrodsburg, we decided to tackle the project ourselves.

The Horse Box is a 1994 Delta and has hauled hundreds of mares and foals all across the state of Kentucky. We’re happy to be able to give it new life, a new purpose and get back on the road! Keeping the environment in mind, we used as much recycled and repurposed material we could find on our farm. And all work was done by local Harrodsburg businesses and the power father-son duo, Edmond and Will Hogan.

We are equipped to hold four quarter kegs so you can enjoy pours from your favorite brands. We have two fridges for wine and mixers, an ice well and plenty of storage and shelving. For more information, visit our Pricing + Contact page and fill out our questionnaire to receive a customized quote!
